It was another busy weekend for me, with both a wedding and a bridal shower!
My cousin’s wedding was held at Pittsburgh’s National Aviary, which was such an incredible venue for a wedding! The ceremony was held in the Historic Rose Garden, which was beautiful – sadly, the weather didn’t totally cooperate, but held out for long enough that the ceremony could be held outside. I also got the chance to snap a few pictures! My hair didn’t hold up very well in the humidity, clearly!
We moved inside for cocktail hour, and got to mix and mingle with some birds and my new BFF, a penguin.
And how gorgeous is this view??
After cocktail hour, it was back outside for an amazingly fun night of dinner and dancing. Look at these desserts!
This was the best shot I got of my dress – it’s this one by Cupcakes & Cashmere, from Shopbop. It was so perfect for the venue, and so comfortable too!
All in all, I thought it was such a unique and fun place for a wedding, and I had the best time. Has anyone else been to a wedding at a coll venue?
