Friday Favorites

It’s still very, very strange to me to think about the fact that it’s been a year now since the pandemic started. As well as I feel like I’ve adapted overall, sometimes it just hits me how surreal it all feels. Seeing March on the calendar again makes it feel all the more real.

Heather, a white woman in a power wheelchair, is outside with some green bushes behind her. She's wearing a green pointelle short sleeved top and a pair of sunglasses. She's looking at the camera and smiling.

On the plus side, though, the sun has been out and shining more and more this week. And honestly, it does so much for my mood and mental health, more so than any other year. It just really makes things feel a lot more optimistic.

And now on to the favorites!

Prince Harry and James Corden

This was both a really fun and really fascinating segment between Prince Harry and James Corden on his show. I am by no means a royals expert, but I thought that this was just the right balance of lightheartedness and honesty. I’m also looking forward to Oprah’s interview with Meghan and Harry this weekend!

COVID-19 Vaccine Rollout and Disabled People

I’m so grateful that this article was written, and that I got to be a part of it! I’m so glad that I was able to get vaccinated, but know so many disabled people who have really struggled to get access. I hope that this article helps to change policies and procedures to make the vaccine more easily available to people with disabilities.

Dermstore Sale

Dermstore is having a great sale right now – between 10 and 20% off lots of different products with code GLOWUP. My favorite micellar water is included (it’s a cult classic and the only one I’ll use!) plus many, many more products.

Miso Short Ribs

I made this recipe for miso short ribs earlier this week and they were so, so good (and made the house smell amazing). Highly recommend!
