Friday Favorites

I’ll have a full post up on my Cedar Point/Lake Erie trip recap next week, but wow – I have been wiped out this week from traveling! I think it’s the whole adjusting thing – to being out and about in the world, to an altered schedule, to being around lots of people again! So fingers crossed, this weekend will be more low-key and I can recover.

On to this week’s favorites!

Heather, a white woman in a power wheelchair, is wearing a leopard print sundress with a smocked top. She's sitting next to a porch table, and has her hand resting on a Starbucks cup that's sitting on the table.
Pride Month Events and Accessibility

Happy Pride Month! This article is a few years old, but it never goes out of style. The title really says it all – “If Your LGBTQIA+ Pride Event Isn’t Accessible to Disabled People, You’re Missing Out.” Inclusion should always be intersectional!

Dear Evan Hansen Trailer

I love Dear Evan Hansen – I saw it when it toured here, and I have listened to the soundtrack many, many times. I’m so excited it’s being made into a movie, and that Ben Platt is reprising his role (with bonus Amy Adams). I’m always here for a movie musical.

Supergoop Sale

Supergoop is offering 20% off all SPF this weekend with the code SUMMER20. If you’re looking for an SPF, Glowscreen is great – you can use it under your foundation, on it’s own, or mixed with a little moisturizer if you’re oily like me.

Real Housewives Book

I loooove the Real Housewives. I haven’t kept up with all of them over the years, but I still am a “regular” for NYC and Dallas. I also love all the behind-the-scenes details about reality TV – how much is real, how much is egged on by producers, etc. So I couldn’t believe, and was very excited to learn, that someone had written a book about how the Housewives came to be. I’m reading it right now!
