Another week over! I’ve been really struggling to find my motivation lately – I shared about this on Instagram stories earlier this week and it seems like many of you are feeling the same way. I think, for me, it’s a little bit of burn out combined with the fact that the end of summer is looming over my head. I’m hoping that some time off this weekend helps me to mentally reset a bit – and that a trip planned for early September helps put me in a better headspace, too. Having something to look forward to always seems to help!
Now, on to this week’s favorites.

I will admit that I am far from an expert on what is happening right now in Afghanistan. But I do know that we need to support refugees in whatever way we can. This NPR article has some great suggestions – I’m making a donation to Women for Afghan Women, but there are other actions you can take too.
Most Wheelchair Accessible Restaurant in NYC
I (tentatively) have a trip to NYC planned for later this year, and have this restaurant at the very top of my to-visit list while I’m there. It’s built specifically with wheelchair accessibility in mind – one of the owners is disabled and uses a wheelchair, so they know what they’re doing. Not having to call ahead or second guess whether or not a restaurant will actually be accessible is so liberating! And their menu looks really delish, too.
I love this dress from Everlane! The loose, flowy shape, the tiers, and the mockneck – they all give the dress a little extra something. It looks so easy and comfy and perfect for the end of summer/beginning of fall.
Okay, I think this is the best video that I’ve seen about disability inclusion and representation in a LONG time. The name refers to the 15% of the population that is disabled. Watch the video and then check out what #WeThe15 is working on!
Olivia Rodrigo at the White House
Olivia Rodrigo’s outfit for her visit to the White House to promote vaccination was instantly iconic – the pink miniskirt suit set and platforms were the perfect combination of serious and fun. This interview with her stylist is a great peek behind the scenes of what went into picking it out! I love Olivia’s commitment to wearing vintage and secondhand.
