Happy Friday! Honestly, this was a WEEK for me – it just felt like one thing after the other kept going wrong. I am very, very happy that it’s the weekend and I have the chance to “unplug” for the next two days. In happier news, though, we did have a few days of warmer weather this week, so it feels like spring is possibly on the way. I’m sure we still have weeks of colder temperatures left, but I’ll take whatever little reprieve I can get in the meantime – it makes it all seem a little more bearable.

And now on to the favorites!
Disabled Kids and Masking in Schools
This essay is a heartbreaking but accurate portrayal of what families who have a disabled / high-risk child in school right now. I am really, really grateful to not be a student anymore (even in graduate school), because I truly don’t know what I would do about classes. I imagine I’d have to take leave of absences and delay my degree, but that’s a little different than the options that younger kids have. I have so much empathy for these families and the decisions that they have to struggle with every day, and it’s a good reminder that the pandemic is not over for many, many people (even if you’re over it!).
Sarah Flint Blue Suede Shoes
Okay, Sarah Flint has been truly knocking it out of the park with their new releases lately! I am so into the gorgeous blue of these suede block heels. My ankles/feet can’t handle heels, so I need someone to buy and wear these so that I can live vicariously through you!

The Real Reporter Behind Inventing Anna
I raced through Inventing Anna, the Netflix series about Anna Delvey / Anna Sorokin, last weekend. I had read the story in NYMag that started all the frenzy way back when, and it was fun to re-live it all. I didn’t actually love the show, but I did enjoy this interview with the author of the NYMag piece to talk about which parts of the show were real and which were made up.
Relaxed Cashmere T-Shirt
I love a cashmere t-shirt – it’s the perfect mix of lounge and luxury. It also looks a little more put together than a regular t-shirt but is still so, so comfy. It’s just perfect. This one comes in right under $100 and is available in so many colors and sizes. It’s a great classic option.
GrandeLash on Sale
Sephora currently has buy one, get one 50% off for all full-size mascaras, primers, and eyelash serums. That makes it an excellent time to stock up on GrandeLash serum – I’ve been using it for a year and a half now and love it. It works so well! For the first six months or so I used it every night, and I’ve been down to every other night for about a year now. I have no plans to stop using it!
