Friday Favorites

We’ve had so much rain this week, and it’s just kind of made the days feel suuuuper long. I just want it to be sunny so I can lounge around outside! Otherwise, the week has been fairly uneventful for me, and it looks like my weekend will be about the same. I’m definitely not complaining, though – I will take a laid-back weekend any day.

And now on to the favorites – lots of cool, disability-related things this week!

Spring Picks Sale at J.Crew

J.Crew has a ton of super cute spring picks up to 50% off right now! I especially love this floral print cotton poplin dress and this button-front eyelet dress, both 50% off.

ASL Interpreters on the Grammys Red Carpet

Okay, I love this so much. Olivia Rodrigo and a few other stars brought along ASL interpreters with them on the red carpet, so that all the interviews they did would be accessible to D/deaf and hard-of-hearing fans. This is such an amazing way to be inclusive – they didn’t make a big deal out of it, they didn’t make it into a big PR stunt, they just made the interviews accessible for all their fans. It’s a really, really cool thing to see.

Harry Styles – As It Was

I am always here for new Harry Styles music! I’ve already listened to this on repeat many, many times. I just really love his music.

New Hotel Lobby Candle

Hotel Lobby makes my favorite candles, hands down. They scents are so great – strong without being overpowering. They’re also one of the few candles that don’t give me an instang headache when they’re lit. Their new scent, Spa, is described as “channeling the relaxed vibes of five-star hotel spas,” and who wouldn’t want that?!

Book Excerpt from Easy Beauty

I cam across this book excerpt in my online browsing this week and WOW, it just stopped me in my tracks. It’s so beautifully written! I love a good memoir – especially a disability-related one – and I instantly added this book to my “must read” list.
