Friday Favorites

We made it to Friday!! I know this was a short week, but for me at least, it felt very long. I am looking forward to relaxing over the weekend, but also have plans to be productive, too – I’m in one of those moods where I feel like there are so many things that I need to get under control. However… on Saturday when all I want to do is be reading outside while sipping my coffee, it’s much harder to convince myself that I should be doing anything else.

On to this week’s favorites!

JVN Complete Conditioning Mist

I had the chance to try the JVN Complete Conditioning Mist out a few weeks before it launched, and I’ve been loving it! It’s a great, super lightweight conditioning spray. It doesn’t weigh down my hair or make it get greasy too quickly, which is key for me. And Sephora just launched a mini travel size of it, too – perfect for any summer trips you may have planned!

Lizzo Carpool Karaoke

I always think Carpool Karaoke videos are fun, but Lizzo’s is especially great. Her energy is just so totally infectious! She is having a blast and it’s so clear. I couldn’t keep myself from singing along!

Adaptive Switch Controller

This is so cool – a boy with SMA worked with his dad and a tech company to come up with a design for an adaptive controller for the Nintendo Switch! It looks super lightweight, easy to use, and incredibly affordable. I actually think MANY video gamers would like this controller, disabled or not. I already pre-ordered one and I can’t wait for it to get here!

Green Floral Dress

Abercrombie has so many dresses that I want right now! I think this “midaxi” dress is great – the green floral print is so pretty, and I love the flutter sleeves and ruching along the bodice. And it would look so cute with a little jean jacket when the evenings start to get cooler, too.

Song Association with Scarlet May

I’ve posted a few Song Association videos before – I just think they’re so much fun! But I love Elle for doing this one in particular – Scarlet May signs along to the songs and talks about how she started making videos to make social media more accessible! Just super cool to see, especially because Elle posted it without making a big deal about it or talking about it being inspirational – it was posted just like any other Song Association would be.

Heather! I’ve been following you on IG for a while now and your blog is now in my rotation, too! I know I am late to the party on the Song Association videos but those are so fun, thanks for sharing.
