As much as I don’t want summer to end, ever, there have been hints that fall is absolutely on the way here in Pittsburgh. I think that the high today is in the 60s, which is definitely fall-like, and even on the warmer days there’s been a chill in the breeze that just feels like fall. And with that temperature shift comes the chance for a new fall wardrobe, too! So I’m sharing a few recent favorites of the new fall styles.

Blue ribbed sweater // Black clogs // Zebra cardigan
Tan poncho // Brown convertible clogs // Zebra dress // Brown heeled clogs // Fringe poncho
Oversized cardigan // Camel poncho // Striped sweater
Cashmere sweater // Brown buckle clogs // Leopard sweater // Reversible poncho
Capes
Capes are one of my absolute favorite parts of fall dressing. They’re super accessible and adaptable – it’s really easy to throw one on for some added warmth (or to dress up an outfit!) and still be able to move my arms around really easily because it doesn’t add too much bulk. This reversible cape in neutral brown tones is classic and would work with so many different outfits. This light tan one has some fun fringe on the bottom to add a little detail. And then there are some fun cape-poncho hybrids, too! This cotton-cashmere one comes in the prettiest camel color, and this cashmere-wool poncho looks like it would be so soft and warm at the same time.
Oversized Sweaters
I love a good comfy, slightly oversized sweater – something that’s just the right amount of boxy without being too baggy. This striped sweater is just slightly baggy, and the stripes keep it looking casual chic. The blue color of this ribbed sweater is beautiful, and the ribbing is a nice extra detail. I cannot resist a perfect oversized cashmere sweater like this one. And if you’re more of a cardigan person, this one is perfectly loose to make it extra cozy and comfortable.
Animal Print
I can never get enough animal print in my closet! This sweater is a slightly darker leopard print that’s a little more subtle version of the animal print trend. I love how fun this brown and cream zebra print cardigan is – it could totally make an outfit! And this zebra print midi dress is perfect – the sleeves and midi length are great for fall, and the smocked top is obviously something I love.
Clogs
I can’t always get into a shoe trend, because I have very specific needs for what will actually fit my feet! But seeing clogs everywhere makes me so nostalgic for my childhood, so I might see if I can find a pair that works for me! This pair seems to be the most promising – the convertible strap in the back will help them stay on my feet, and the heel is more of a flat platform, which is ideal for me. This pair has a really cute buckle on the front. If you’re looking for a heel rather than a platform, this pair is a great option. And if you want a black pair of clogs, I love these ones.
