Friday Favorites

I started my week off on a high after spending Saturday at the Family House Polo Match – it was honestly the perfect day, weather-wise, and so much fun. The rest of the week was basically work, blog, sleep, repeat – not the most exciting, but it is what it is. I’ve been extra exhausted lately, so getting through the week kind of feels like enough of an achievement!

And now, on to this week’s favorites.

Balsamic Chicken

I wanted a protein to make for dinner with some leftover polenta, and stumbled on this balsamic chicken recipe. It was delicious! We actually ended up making the balsamic glaze from scratch, which was so much easier than I thought it would be and so delicious. Highly recommend as a perfect fall meal!

Malachite Earrings

These malachite earrings from J.Crew are such a beautiful shade of green! I love that they’re a huggie shape but still big and bold enough to make a statement, and they’re handmade in Italy, which is so cool. Best part? They’re 30% off right now with the code SHOPFALL.

Emma Straub on her Father

I love Emma Straub’s book This Time Tomorrow, but didn’t realize that it was loosely based on her real-life experiences with her own father. This is such a touching essay! I highly recommend giving it a read (and reading Emma’s book, too, which was so lovely).

Sarah Flint Chelsea Boot

These new Chelsea boots from Sarah Flint are stunning! The leather, the short heel, the detailed seams, and the commitment to comfort – a perfect casual boot for fall.

Use my code SARAHFLINT-BAHEATHERREPORT for $50 off your first pair of Sarah Flints.

Sheryl Lee Ralph’s Life Lessons

I love Abbott Elementary – have you watched it yet? Sheryl Lee Ralph is absolutely a standout on the show. This is such a great interview with her – it’s really a glimpse at her whole life and how she got to be where she is today.

Hill House Sweater Dress

Hill House released their fall collection on Wednesday! There are so many beautiful new patterns and fabrics – if I had an unlimited budget, I’d buy multiple dresses! Since I don’t, though, I picked up their new Sylvie sweater dress – it looks like the perfect combination of cozy and flowy.
