Today is my last day of my day job until 2023! I’ll still be around here, but I’m excited for the time off – I’m really feeling like I need it! I still have posts planned for most days here, but might take a day or two off here and there. I’m trying to find the right balance between writing posts that I’m excited to share and making sure I get the rest I need!
On to this week’s favorites.
Good news! You can place an order for four free at-home COVID tests per household again through the USPS – just fill out this form! With holiday gatherings and travel, it’s definitely a good thing to have some around so you can test to protect your at-risk friends and family members. And don’t forget your mask, too!
Reneé Rapp is probably most known from her (great!!) role on the HBO show Sex Lives of College Girls, but she was also in Mean Girls on Broadway, and her voice is seriously incredible. She just put out an EP that I have been listening to repeatedly, and her performance on James Corden’s show is absolutely something you should watch!
This list of best books of 2022 from Vulture gave me some ideas for new books to read next year. I’ve only read a few of their best books – Siren Queen and Easy Beauty – and I loved those, so I trust their judgement. I’ll be sharing my own best books of 2022 next week, so be on the lookout for that, too!
I love this coloring book calendar from XO-LP – it’s basically a functional calendar and art therapy coloring book all in one! I am not super artistic, but I can handle coloring inside lines and I love the abstract fun patterns in this calendar.
