This week’s favorites post is a little bit shorter – I was in DC for the first half of the week, and I’ve been doing my best to relax and unplug for much of the second half! Look at this gorgeous tree that decorates the lobby of The Willard during the holidays – doesn’t it just make you feel all warm and cozy? It really gets me in the mood for reading cozy books and re-watching some of my favorites movies and shows.

On to the favorites!
Buffalo Blizzard: How to Help
The news coming out about the deaths and injuries following the blizzard in Buffalo is just devastating. GoFundMe has gathered a list of verified fundraisers where you can donate to help some of those affected. Of course, these are not the only places, but sometimes in situations like this, direct help vs. giving to an organization can be the most efficient way to offer support.
NYE at Home
When I was younger, I loved going out somewhere for New Year’s Eve, but now I am firmly convinced that the best place to be is at a house (preferably mine). I also am totally in favor of getting dressed up to celebrate at home, like this article from The Cut talks about. I haven’t fully decided what I’ll be wearing yet, but I’m thinking my sequin Nap Dress + cozy slippers. We’ll see!
Best of Teen Vogue Op-Eds
I think that Teen Vogue has some of the best articles out there right now! They just do an amazing job being diverse, intersectional, and intentional in the pieces that they publish. I love this list of their favorite op-eds from 2022 – I’ve read some already and am adding the rest to my list to check out.
