February’s favorites are such a random mishmash of different things that I really loved throughout the month. Some are new to me, and some I’ve had for a while but became newly obsessed with. There’s also more things than experiences on this month’s favorites, which is fitting because much of the month was just me, in my house! So here’s what I loved in February.

Drunk Elephant Bouncy Brightfacial Brightening Mask
I’m going to share a full review of this Drunk Elephant mask in a post next week, but I’ve been using it for the last month or so and it’s quickly earned a permanent place in my routine. It’s a leave on mask that you use as the final step in your skincare routine (either morning or night), and it has been so effective in fading some dark spots I had left from acne. I’m just so impressed with the change I’ve seen in my skin in just a few weeks!
Hill House Bath Headband
A few weeks ago, I posted on my Instagram stories that since my last headband broke, I’d been wearing cat ears from Halloween every time I washed my face! Hill House saw my story, took pity on me, and sent me a few headbands, including their Bath Headband. I love it! It’s actually tight enough to keep the little stray hairs off my face while I watch it, which is huge, and because it’s terry cloth, it absorbs any little droplets of water to really protect your hairline. So great.
Hotel Lobby Candle New York
Hotel Lobby restocked some of their best-selling scents again, and I was able to order a new New York candle, which meant I could go back to burning my current one without worrying I’d run out. It is, in my opinion, just the perfect scent. It reminds me of Le Labo Santal 33 – not a dupe, exactly, just similar undertones – and just makes me so happy every time I smell it.
I Have Some Questions for You by Rebecca Makkai
I have a full review of this book in my February Recent Reads post, but I wanted to include it here too. I sped through this book – it totally captivated me. It was kind of a mix of genres – fictionalized true crime, dark academia like The Secret History, and thriller/whodunit. I love anything set at a prep or boarding school, so I went into it thinking I’d really enjoy, and I was right!
Air Fryer
So, a thing about me is that when I decide to like something, I go all in. In February, I found a really simple recipe for cooking salmon in the air fryer (I think it was this one, I’ve been kind of improvising it since finding) and became obsessed. The air fryer just cooked the salmon so perfectly and so quickly, and it was so tasty. So the air fryer, which I’ve had for a few years now, quickly rocketed near the top of the February favorites list.
MiiR Insulated Mug
I’ve used this mug almost every day since I got it! It’s lightweight, the perfect size for my double macchiatos (8 oz, but it comes in larger sizes too), keeps my drink warm for 3-4 hours, and has a little slot in the lid that fits my straw perfectly. I’m always excited when I buy something that’s actually as easy for me to use as I hope it is!
