I know, I know – “Florals for spring… how groundbreaking.” Well, I get that florals might not be groundbreaking, but it doesn’t mean that they’re not cute! And this pink floaty, flirty, floral dress is incredibly cute and incredibly perfect for spring and summer!
I am a big dress person in the spring and summer. I guess technically I’d a big dress person year round, but they feel extra appropriate in the spring and summer. It’s so nice to be wearing something breezy and airy. I’ve especially been into floatier dresses recently – things that are a little bit looser and more billowy. This pink floral tiered dress is exactly that.
I love the look and feel of this dress so much! It has the perfect loose, babydoll shape – it feels so flowy and floaty. It would be so great for those hot days when you don’t want anything sticking to you. I love the ruffled straps and the square neckline, too. The ruffled straps and the little tiers throughout the dress keep it from being too much like a sack, without adding any real structure.
I’m not always a huge floral person, to be honest, but I really do love this floral print. It almost reminds me of a painting, and I love all the different shades of pink and red and white. The print takes what could be a pretty basic dress and takes it up a notch.
I think you could dress this up or down depending on what you wear with it. I did a little bit of a mix – these metallic slingbacks from Sarah Flint (on sale!!), plus a woven mini bag. But it would work equally well with flats or sandals, too. It’s just a cute, versatile pop of fun for spring and summer.
