New Beauty Favorites

I’m not always the most adventurous with my beauty products – once I find something that I love, I’m super loyal, and will continue to use it for years. But I’ve been trying to experiment a little bit with some new things recently, and I’ve found a few that I really love.

Fenty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Foundation

I love this liquid foundation! There are so many shades available, so I was able to find the perfect match for me. A little bit goes a super long way, but it’s still buildable, so you can choose how sheer or full-coverage you want your finish to be for the day. And it lasts SO well – my skin is super oily, and this foundation is still on by the end of the day, and doesn’t get weirdly creased or cakey looking anywhere. It’s just an all-around great foundation. Plus, I love stocking up on the mini size for travel!

Glossier Boy Brow

I think I may have mentioned this once in a monthly favorites – I’ve been using it for a bit now. It goes on so nicely and easily – the brush is nice and small, so you can really make sure you’re coating your brows properly. It lasts all day and doesn’t flake, but it’s not too heavy – my brows still look natural, but just a little more polished. It doesn’t ever look too overdone. Sometimes I wear it on it’s own, sometimes I wear it over Brow Flick.

Glossier Brow Flick

Before Brow Flick, I’d never used anything more than a tinted brow gel. I am not especially skilled at makeup, and my brows are decently thick on their own, so I just never tried anything. But I love Glossier’s Boy Brow so much that I decided to try out their Brow Flick, too, and I love it. I don’t use it every day, but when I want something a little more done up, I reach for it. It is incredibly easy to use – I just draw little flicks on my brows wherever I want a little bolder of a brow. It’s still a subtle change, but it’s noticeable.

Rare Beauty Tinted Lip Oil

I love lip balms and lip tints, but had never tried a lip oil before this one! It feels really nice going on – it’s moisturizing, but it’s surprisingly not sticky. It doesn’t stay super glossy – the finish dies down a little more matte, but not super matte at all – and it ends up being a slight tint on my lips. I love that I don’t need to use a mirror when I’m applying, and it’s just a nice, subtle wash of color.

Urban Decay All-Nighter Setting Spray

I know that setting sprays have been around for years, but I actually never tried one until recently! I really wanted my makeup to last through the Taylor Swift concert, and I have an upcoming friend’s wedding, too. So I picked up the mini version of the classic setting spray from Urban Decay. It honestly worked really, really well. My makeup looked almost as good at the end of the long day that was the Eras tour as it did when I first put it on, which is seriously high praise.
