This week has felt both long and short at the same time. I think it’s because it’s already mid-August, and feels like time in flying. Every time I go outside I’m reminded that fall is just around the corner – I can hear the crickets so loudly when I’m on my patio! I’ve said this before, but I’m really not ready – I’m trying to get in every second of outside time that I can.

Glass Candlesticks

When I was young, one of my favorite things to do at Cedar Point was to “make” my own candles… which basically means that you dip already-made candles in different colors of wax to create your own design. When we went back a few weeks ago, I decided to embrace the nostalgia and do it again! So of course, once I got home, I had to buy a cute set of candlesticks to match – and I love these pretty glass ones from Anthropologie.

I cannot stop listening to Olivia Rodrigo’s new song, bad idea right?. It’s just so much fun and so catchy – I keep finding myself humming or singing it to myself all day long. If you (somehow!) haven’t listened yet, you definitely should.

Taylor Swift Outfits

Elizabeth Holmes did the best roundup of what people have worn to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in her newsletter recently! I loved reading about the looks everyone put together – I just think the amount of planning and thought that people put into their outfits is so, so cool.

Friendship Bracelet Cabin

Speaking of the Eras Tour… I saw this Folklore-esque cabin on a TikTok and hunted down the Etsy shop! I didn’t actually make or trade any friendship bracelets, but if you did, this would be the cutest way to store them. I bought it anyway as a cute piece of desk decor! I can’t wait for it to arrive.
