August really flew by, and was filled with a lot of ups and downs for me – just a lot going on. I absolutely indulged in some retail therapy throughout the month with zero regret. So this month’s favorites has a few more things I bought than usual, but I do love them all!

Folklore Cabin

I can’t get over how adorable this Folklore-inspired cabin is! It just looks so cute and cozy sitting on my end table – the most subtle of Taylor Swift decor. One of those “if you know, you know” type things. I added these little flickering LED faux votive candles inside mine, and they give off the prettiest little glow.

Permanent Bracelet from Skelton Jewelry

This was definitely a highlight of my month! I got a permanent bracelet from Skelton as an early birthday present to myself, and I’m completely obsessed with it. The whole process was easy and fun, and it just feels so special. I keep looking down at my wrist and smiling

Anxious People

I read Anxious People as part of an online book club I’m in, and honestly, probably would have never read it otherwise. But I’m so glad that I did! It really surprised me – a cozy mystery of sorts, with a whole cast of interconnected characters, and lots of one-liners about human nature. Highly recommend!

Espadrille Sneakers

I don’t know why I waited so long to buy a pair of espadrille sneakers! I know they’re basically and the end of their time now for this year, since summer is almost over, but they’re cute enough that I wanted to make sure I mentioned them. I love how they’re still casual, but the espadrille woven bottom makes them just a little bit nicer than regular sneakers.

Delaney Candlesticks

I saw these candlesticks in a targeted Instagram ad and was immediately sold. The color is gorgeous, and I love the shape, too. They work so well with the candles I dipped myself at Cedar Point, and that combination is just so fun to me. It’s the perfect way to elevate my souvenir into something a little more permanent and decor-worthy.
