Friday Favorites

The last Friday of September is here! This month went really quickly for me – it feels like Labor Day just was here, and now we’re already at the end of the month. I took off from work Thursday and Friday this week, and got my new COVID vaccine (yay!), so it was a shorter work week for me. I’m also going to see Moulin Rouge tomorrow night at the Benedum, which I’m so excited for – I’ve heard it’s amazing! I really love a weekend that involves the theater.

And now, on to this week’s favorites

Rowing Blazers x Target Adaptive Duffle Coat

My order from the Rowing Blazers x Target collection came in, and I could not love this adaptive duffle coat more. It’s basically a cape, but there are optional snaps on the side that can create “sleeves” if you want it to be more coat-like. Honestly, it’s so perfect – I have always loved the duffle coat style, but have never been able to find one that actually works for me. I’m wearing the kids size large here and it’s a great fit. I love it!

Most Anticipated Fall Books

I am constantly looking for book recommendations, and love learning what books are coming out soon! This is a great list of the most anticipated books for fall. Obviously, I am beyond excited for Iron Flame coming out in November, but there are so many other great books on this list that I’m going to add to my own TBR.

Hill House End-of-Season Event

Hill House has a “surprise” end-of-season sale going on right now – use the code BYESUMMER! There are a ton of styles included, with lots of sizes still available for most of them. This gorgeous navy floral Matilda dress would be perfect for fall events (though only limited sizes are left, so hurry!). I also love the Louisa in the red cotton, and Elizabeth in pink cotton (great for anyone who wants to be Barbie for Halloween!).

*NYSNC on Hot Ones

Hot Ones always does amazing interviews, and their episode with *NSYNC is no exception!! Honestly, it’s such a blast from the past to see them talking and laughing together, and I’m looking forward to hearing their new song… and forever holding out hope for a reunion tour, which I would give anything to see live!!
