This week is one of those weeks that has felt extremely long. My personal care attendant was out sick for the beginning half of the week, which just throws my schedule into disarray, and makes everything a little bit more stressful and complicated. Of course, I’m so grateful that she doesn’t try to work while she’s sick (and get me sick in the process!), but it still just makes things a little bit trickier. On the upside, I’m headed to the drive in tonight to see The Eras Tour movie, which I’m extremely excited about.
On to this week’s favorites!

Better Hate than Never Launch
I finally made it to the White Whale Bookstore this week, to celebrate the launch of Chloe Liese’s latest book, Better Hate than Never. It was really great to hear her talk with B.K. Borison (author of the Lovelight Farm books!!) about writing and the importance of good, authentic, deliberate representation in romance. I’m really excited to dig into Better Hate than Never over the weekend.
Rowing Blazers x Target Corduroy Crossbody
I picked this crossbody bag up from the Rowing Blazers x Target collaboration – it’s still available! It’s so perfect for fall – I love the corduroy texture and the deep green color. It worked perfectly with my favorite tie-back cashmere sweater, and it just felt like the perfect fall outfit.
Olivia Rodrigo covering Stick Season
I got tickets to see Noah Kahan next summer with one of my best friends. She is, by far, the bigger fan, so I’ve been listening to more of his music to prepare myself. I also came across this cover of his song Stick Season by Olivia Rodrigo, and all I can say is wow. It’s a really, really great cover of an already great song.
Lug Sole Loafer
I’ve finally decided that I’m ready to jump on the lug sole loafer train! I want a pair that aren’t too trendy, but have that lug sole that really is everywhere right now. I actually picked up this kids’ pair, since I have really small feet, but this is the same style in womens’ sizes. I love the brown trim, too – I feel like the brown and black combination will really make them go with everything.
Taylor + Beyoncé
It feels like so often, the big female pop stars are pitted against each other. So seeing Taylor and BeyoncĂ©, two of the biggest music talents out there right now – with two of the biggest, most impressive tours – coming together to celebrate the premiere of Taylor’s Eras Tour movie was really nice to see.
