I’m extremely happy that it’s Friday, and that the weekend is in sight! It’s been a bit of a stressful week – my personal care attendant couldn’t work this week because of a COVID exposure and sick people in her household. It’s something that is bound to happen, but is just a not-so-fun reminder for me that while most people’s lives have largely returned to “normal,” mine has not. It means that we had to do lots of scheduling Tetris to make everything go smoothly this week. But the weekend is here now, so I’m going to focus on that. I hope to get some reading time in – last weekend I flew through Project Hail Mary! On to this week’s favorites!
I am always here for more book recommendations! This is a great list of books to look out for that are being published over the next year. I’m definitely adding Real Americans and The Coins to my own TBR.
Shopbop currently has an extra 25% off their sale items with the code EXTRA25. This sweater looks so cozy, and I love the colorblocking on this one. I have and love this fun black mixed media dress! And this dress has the prettiest colors of stripes.
This is such a fun video – Kristen Stewart relives lines from some of the movies that she’s been in (Twilight included). It’s fun to hear her thoughts on the movie years later… especially her reaction to the name Bella! It’s also fun to hear her talk about the movie Happiest Season, which was filmed here in Pittsburgh.
The Sound of Music is one of my favorite movies ever – it’s truly such a classic, and Julie Andrews is such a star. This has 25 rarely seen photos from behind-the-scenes on set while filming! It’s really cool to get a peek behind the curtain, and I learned that the real-life Maria had a cameo in the movie, which I didn’t know!
