Friday Favorites

Happy Friday! I don’t have a whole lot to share this week – work has still been busy (but in a good way), which means it feels like the week has flown. We have a low-key Easter weekend planned – just a small dinner with family – so the weekend should give me some time to relax a bit! I honestly can’t believe that this is the last full week of March, but I’m really beyond ready for April, and warmer weather, and spending so much time outside. It can’t be too much longer now!

On to this week’s favorites.

Bergman Brothers Special Edition

I’m SO excited – I was able to snag one of the special edition Afterlight sets of the Bergman Brothers series this week! I was so nervous they were going to sell out that I actually set a phone alarm for their on sale time. The series holds such a special place in my heart – each romance has a disabled main character who gets their happy ever after – and the special editions look absolutely gorgeous. I can’t wait for them to arrive!

The Gender Refugees

This is a really powerful piece about the real-life impact of states banning, or limiting, gender-affirming care, and what happens when transgender people who live in one of those states have to choose between their healthcare and their home. No one should have to pick up their life and move just so they can access healthcare that they need! It’s really heartbreaking to read, and is a reminder of the importance of being an ally and advocate even if legislation doesn’t affect you personally.

20% Off at Abercrombie

Abercrombie has 20% off almost everything right now, with no code needed. I especially love their Emerson dress – I have it in a few different lengths and patterns, and love the ruching in the front paired with the smocking in the back for adjustability. This blue and white poplin version is great, I love this new off-the-shoulder edition, and the floaty, fluttery sleeves on this one are just so pretty.

Anne Hathaway Rewatches Her Roles

The Princess Diaries and The Devil Wears Prada are two of my favorite movies, and Anne Hathaway is so great in both of them! I loved watching her watch a few clips of her own movies in this interview and talking about what it was like to work on them – I loved hearing her talk about singing live for the Les Mis movie, and talking about her personal connection to the role, which I had no idea about.
