Happy Friday!! I am extremely excited to have a low-key summer weekend at home, where I can just sit on the patio and read and lounge. I’ve been doing a bad job lately at balancing work and rest – so I’m going to try hard this weekend to do a little reset and try to give my body a break. I’m not always great at balance, but I am at least getting better about recognizing my limits!

Trump on Disabled People

This article has been circulating all over my social media, and ugh, it’s just so disheartening to read, especially during Disability Pride Month. This is why politics is personal, and why voting against Trump is so important to me! I don’t want someone in power who doesn’t believe in the intrinsic value of my life.

Clueless Book Clutch

I came across this book clutch with a Clueless image and just couldn’t resist it! I love the iconic yellow plaid outfit that they chose, and it’s just a fun nod to one of my all-time favorite movies. I’m really in my fun bag era right now!

Emily Henry Profile (Gift Article)

I loved this profile of Emily Henry in The New York Times! It’s so interesting – in an era where BookTok and Bookstagram loom large, she has managed to put out bestsellers with a really limited social media presence. I think it’s really a testament to her writing and characters, and how relatable they are to so many of us.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Accessories

Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale is still going strong, and I’m really loving their accessories – so many cute bags, shoes, and sunglasses are included in the sale. I especially love these sunglasses from one of my favorite brands, Le Specs, and this classic handbag!
