I’ve always loved perfume – when I was working in the office, I’d wear it every day without fail, and even now that I’m working from home I’ll sometimes put it on during the day just for me! For years, I was a “signature scent” person – I’d wear the same fragrance day in and day out. Recently, though, I’ve been branching out and exploring new-to-me scents. Over the last year or so, I’ve built up a nice little collection of perfumes that I’ve been having a lot of fun with. These are my current favorites!

Chanel Chance

This is my tried-and-true favorite. Chanel Chance was my choice of signature scent for years, and though I’ve been branching out, I still love this one. To me, it’s just the perfect everyday scent – not too light and sweet, but not too deep and woodsy either. The combination of florals and vanilla is just the right mix.

Le Labo Santal 33

Santal 33 is one of those perfumes with a cult following – you’ve probably heard of it! This is a deeper, more androgynous scent – you can definitely smell the cedarwood and sandalwood in the formula. But it also dries down to something slightly warm and comforting, too.

Tom Ford Soleil Blanc

Soleil Blanc is the perfect summer scent for me! It smells like sunscreen and sand and drinks out on the patio in the sunshine. It’s rich and floraly and slightly sweet all at the same time, and is really addictive once it’s on. It wears really nicely throughout the day, too! It basically smells like a luxury summer vacation in a bottle.

Byredo Mojave Ghost

I don’t even know exactly how to describe Mojave Ghost, but it is one of my newest favorites. I’m not usually into anything that’s too floral, but something about how the florals are mixed with woodsy scents plus just a touch of sweetness makes this perfume so incredibly addicting! When I wear it out I often get asked what I’m wearing, there’s just something about it!

Tom Ford Lost Cherry

Maybe you, like me at first, are thinking Lost Cherry? A cherry-scented perfume? It sounds a little bit strange, but wow, this fragrance is incredible. It also smells like a maraschino cherry – it has that sweetness – but then once it dries down a bit it has a deeper and darker side, too. It’s incredibly unique but so, so unexpectedly good.

Burberry Goddess

I picked Burberry Goddess out of a Sephora sampler set earlier this year, and I love what a great, everyday option it is. It kind of reminds me of a grown-up version of a Warm Vanilla Sugar scent. It’s very vanilla-y, but actually not to sweet – it’s a deeper, almost slightly spicy. It wears really well throughout the day, too.

Kayali Fragrances

I have a small collection of mini-sized Kayali perfumes that I’m grouping together here. In general, I find that Kayali are on the sweeter side, and don’t last quite as long as some of my other fragrances. But they’re also more affordable, and I love the mini sized options so I can try more, and because they’re easy to travel with. Their new Vacation Set is perfect for summer – all four of the fragrances are sweet and summery. I also love the Pistachio scent – it’s probably the sweetest, but also has a nice nuttier, deeper dry down. And I had to try out Cafe Oud because it said it has notes of cappuccino! It’s the least sweet of the ones I’ve tried, and also the strongest.
