Happy Friday! It’s been a bit of a week around here – Lily went in to the vet to get some teeth pulled earlier this week, and it turned out they had to pull all of them. Poor pup! She’s doing well and is pretty much back to normal, and I think this means a puppaccino is definitely in her future.

Setting an Olympic Record… for Crystals! (Gift Link)
I love watching the Olympics – especially gymnastics! I’m not typically a sports person, but something about the camraderie and the competition at the Olympics level is just so much fun to watch. This was a fun article about Team USA women’s gymnastics and about their leotards! I love sparkle, and it’s so cool to read about how every single square inch of fabric is covered in crystals.
Disabled Voters for Harris
I’m so glad to see that there’s a group mobilizing the disability community in support of Kamala Harris! There’s a Zoom meeting tonight at 7 PM ET – I’ll be joining, and I’d love if any of you did, too! You don’t have to be disabled to join – allies are more than welcome.
Simple Poplin Dress
I love the look of this simple black dress from J.Crew – the sweetheart neckline and the poplin skirt are both great, and the whole look is simple but sophisticated. It would be so easy to dress this up or down, too.
Response to Ballerina Farms
My feeds have been filled with Ballerina Farms content after the article about their family came out in The Times a few weeks ago. I thought that this article was a very smart reminder that we actually know very little about what their real lives (and their relationship!) is like when there are no cameras or reporters around. It’s a good reminder in general for anyone you see online!
Rare Beauty and Accessibility Research
I thought that this was really cool – Rare Beauty teamed up with a research institute at a hospital system to do a study on accessible beauty products and packaging! Since Selena Gomez has Lupus, this is something she’s passionate about, and I love that they plan to not only use it in future Rare Beauty products, but to share their findings with the larger beauty industry, too!

Def be joining that zoom call! Lily is adoooorable. So glad she’s doing ok. I recently cat sat and one of the cats has zero teeth but is such an eater that he eats his siblings’ food and his parents were told he needs to go on a diet 😂
