It’s the last post of August! I honestly can’t believe how the month has flown, and how we’re only days away from September. I’m always sad to see August end because it means summer is on it’s way out, but September means my birthday month, which is something fun to look forward to, at least! It’s actually been in the 90s here this week, so it hasn’t felt like end-of-summer at all, really – I keep getting confused every time I look at my calendar! I’m not complaining, though – I’ll hold on to the warmer temperatures as long as I can.

I thought this article about being a bridesmaid as the ultimate friendship test was so interesting! I’ve been really lucky so far with my friends and my involvement in their weddings, but I know that when emotions are high and people are stressed, it’s easy for things to get out of hand super quickly! I feel like there’s such a pressure right now for every single part of the wedding day to be picture perfect, and it can definitely have unintended consequences on the other people involved.
