As I’m writing this, it’s a cool 64 degrees out. I know we still have some time with warmer temperatures ahead, but it’s also time to start thinking about some light layers as the nights start to turn a little bit chillier. So today I’m rounding up some sweaters and knits that are great for layering and transitioning from summer into fall.

Black Long Sleeved // Yellow Polo Style // Crochet Style Vest // Grey Vest
Striped Sweater Tee // Cream Long Sleeved // Cream Striped Tank // Open Weave Tank
Navy Vest // Red Long Sleeved // Cream Tie Front // Striped Pocket Tee
I have been seeing so many of these vests with open ties in the front, and I think this one is a great, simple version of the trend. This grey vest and this navy one are both classic options that could work with so many different outfits! And I love this crochet-style vest – it’s such a fun addition to an outfit.
I’m loving all the striped knits, too! I really like the shape of this cream striped knit tank, and this navy and cream top is so nice and slouchy, and has a pocket detail to add that classic touch. I love a boxy sweater / tee hybrid, and this striped one does not disappoint.
I’m also really, really into all the open weave knits I’m seeing right now! This tank version is a fun way to layer over a dress or a top without adding too much extra volume. I really love the mustard yellow and more delicate knit style of this collared short sleeve top. The ruffled hem on the bottom of this black long sleeved version is so cute, and I also love the chunkier open knit of this cream colored sweater. And if you want to add a pop of color, this red open weave sweater is a perfect option.
