What a week! We have a big conference next week at work, which means that every time I cross something off my to do list, two more things are added. I also got my Covid vaccine this week – I wanted to make sure I had some protection before the conference! – and the side effects hit me hard the day after, as they have for the last few times I’ve gotten it. Not fun to deal with, especially during a busy week, but definitely worth it in the long run.
On to this week’s favorites.

Equestrian Toile Nap Dress
My Equestrian Toile Nap Dress was delivered earlier this week, and I took it out of the bag and immediately put it on to go get my vaccine! It’s so cute – a subtle horse print – and the navy is great for fall. I love the feel of the fabric of this one, too – it’s cotton, but feels a little bit like cotton sateen.
Check Your Voting Registration
Earlier this week was National Voter Registration Day! I know the day is over, but it’s not too late to check that you’re registered to vote at your current residence, and to register if you’re not. You can use this website to check your registration status by state.
J.Crew Fall Layers Sale
J.Crew has some pieces of “fall layers” on sale right now, no code needed. I especially love this cable-knit cardigan, this super lightweight sweater tee, and this patch-pocket sweater version of their lady jacket.
Ina Garten’s Memoir
I love Ina Garten, and am incredibly excited to read her forthcoming memoir. This little excerpt is such a tease, but in the best possible way! It’s nice to hear that Ina and Jeffrey went through a rough patch but were eventually able to work it out – yay, therapy! I’m very excited to learn more about her and her life.
