Happy Halloween! This week’s favorites post is a day early, because the Sephora holiday sale starts tomorrow, and I have a post scheduled with all my picks. While I’m not the hugest Halloween person, I saw this post on Instagram from Hill House with an ACOTAR-inspired costume… and I couldn’t resist. So I pulled together a quick High Lady of the Night Court costume! It was really fun, even if I did dress up just for myself (and all of you, I guess!),

On to this week’s favorites.
Dealing with Election Anxiety
Now that the election is only days away, my nerves keep getting increasingly worse! I think a little bit of anxiety is good, because it makes you want to do something, but there is definitely a thing as too much anxiety. I think this article has some helpful tips both for how to deal with election anxiety, and for how to channel that anxiety into taking action.
Shopbop Sale
Shopbop has a bunch of things added to their sale that ends today. There are a lot of cute sweaters included, like this fuzzy one, this striped cardigan, this cable knit, and this one with an argyle-ish pattern.
Barnes & Noble Book of the Year Finalists
I love lists of books of the year – it’s always fun to see which I’ve read (and if I also loved), and it’s fun to get ideas for new books to add to my list. This list has all the finalists for Barnes & Noble’s Book of the Year – so fun to see Taylor Swift Style make the list, and I’m adding Swift River to my list of books to read!
Nap Dresses in the Workplace
I work from home, so I wear Nap Dresses “to the office” quite a bit! But I thought this was a fun read about how ubiquitous the Nap Dress has become at work. It makes sense to me, honestly – it’s a way to look cute and put together but still be comfortable at work. And like they mention, it works for post-work plans too – no more outfit change in the bathroom required! I have no plans to retire my Nap Dresses anytime soon.
