Friday Favorites

I realize the irony of saying this when I have a post from only a few days ago about helping to get rid of the winter blahs, but the blahs have in fact been strong this week. I am very ready for the snow to be over – I just feel like every time there’s a hint of things warming up, it snows AGAIN. I’m ready to see green again! However, I’m going to take advantage of the continued hibernation mode I’m in this weekend and try to fit in a few more Oscar Best Picture nominees – I didn’t realize the awards were so close! I’ve watched over half of them now, but have a few left.

On to this week’s favorites.

Hill House Rosetta Dress

Hill House released the cutest white Nap Dress earlier this week, with a sweetheart(ish) neckline and a little rosetta on the front. The fabric is so gorgeous, with some eyelet details – it would be so great for anyone with bridal events (or anyone in need of a warmer weather dress).

Adult Field Trip

I kept seeing this article about going on an “adult field trip” everywhere I looked over the weekend! The idea sounds so fun – once the weather warms up a bit, I’d love to plan a field trip with friends to a museum here! It’s such a fun way to spend an afternoon, and I desperately need to do something new.

Twist-Front Maxi Dress

I love both the shape and the fabric of this Abercrombie dress! The twist-front gives it a little extra detail, and the brown and white checkered print is subtle and versatile.

The New York Times has pulled together a great guide with LOTS of romance book recommendations. Some based on genre, some based on plot, some from favorite romance authors… honestly, just so many great recommendations in here! I’m definitely going to be adding a few to my own TBR.
