Friday Favorites

It’s been a bit of a hectic week for me, scheduling-wise, so I feel like I’m just coming up for air a little bit. March has felt so long, but I also can’t believe the end of the month is here – I’m very much looking forward to April and spring and sunshine and warmer weather. Somewhat laser focused on it, really! It’s so close. But until then, I have a very low-key weekend planned – trying to finish the new Hunger Games book, because it’s been hard for me to sit down and focus on reading this week.

On to this week’s favorites.

London Candle from Hotel Lobby

Hotel Lobby launched a new scent this week – London – and I’m not sure I’ve ever been more excited for one of their launches! With notes of Earl Grey tea and vanilla, I just know I will love. I actually have the candle and diffuser coming my way (thank you, Hotel Lobby!) and I’m so excited to experience it. Honestly, it makes me want to throw a little tea party!

Don’t Believe Trump’s Promises About Protecting the Social Safety Net

I think this article is just an important reminder that we don’t know what’s going to happen with Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security, and that we can’t get complacent about our advocacy. I know it’s exhausting and that there’s so much going on all the time, but I’ll still be sharing about how important Medicaid is to me and my life because I’m still really, really worried about what’s going to happen to it in the next few months.

Hill House Spring Event

Hill House has a surprise sale going on right now, with 20% off some of their items with the code SPRING20. I rounded up some of my favorites on my ShopMy, like this pretty blue Ellie and this matching top and skirt set.

I have been on a big re-watching kick again… the new Hunger Games book release made me want to re-watch all the movies… on a loop. More than once. So I’m very into this list of re-watchable, feel-good films – many of which I haven’t seen yet! I’m definitely going to be checking some of them out.
