This has been one of those weeks where I just constantly feel one or two steps behind of where I should be! I don’t exactly know where the hours went in each day, but I need just a few more of them. It’s been super rainy (and occasionally snowy, ugh) and dreary here a lot of this week, too, and that definitely hasn’t helped! I’m really looking forward to spring being here for real – I always feel like I have more energy when the sun is shining! As always, I’m hoping for a bit of a reset over the weekend.
Here are my favorites from the week!

Hill House April Collection
Hill House dropped their April collection this week! As always, lots of cute pieces – I especially like this black jersey halter dress, this pretty green striped dress, and this shorter halter dress in a navy print.
“Intro” Fantasy Books from Leigh Bardugo
I love fantasy books, but I know that not everyone is that genre like I am! Leigh Bardugo (the author of the Shadow and Bone series) has shared some of her recommendations for the best books as an introduction to fantasy for non-fantasy readers. I’ve read and really loved a handful of them, and am adding the rest to my own list!
7 Ways to Be a More Thoughtful Friend
I have been finding so many good articles on Substack lately! Like this one from Grace on how to be a more thoughtful friend. I’ve always thought that being a good friend takes effort – it’s about the little things, often, but you have to put in the work just like you do with any other relationship. I love Grace’s tips for how to better show up for the people in your life.
Dr. Idriss Major Fade
I picked up this Vitamin C gel moisturizer from Dr. Idriss as part of the Sephora Sale, and I’ve been using it for about a week now. I love being able to combine two steps in one, and it’s played nicely with my other steps in my routine so far – no pilling. It feels really nice on, and is moisturizing without being too heavy. So far, so good!
What Trump’s Tariffs Mean for One Small Business
Like I said, I’ve been finding so many articles on Substack lately! I think Elizabeth’s newsletter was the reason I created my Substack account originally, and she has continually put out incredible articles like this one. Sometimes, the best way to understand big policy issues is through a much smaller lens – in this case, through the lens of one small business owner. Definitely worth a read.
