It’s time to share my April favorites! The month felt both short and long at the same time – scrolling back through my phone to remember my favorites was a bit of a struggle. The post is definitely Sephora Sale heavy – that’s when I did most of my shopping for the month. Here is everything I loved from last month.

Replica Never-ending Summer

I love this summery scent from Replica! I typically tend to favor deeper scents, sometimes even the unisex ones that are heavy with sandalwood, but I like to have something for when I want a seasonal scent. Never-ending summer is exactly that – strong orange notes that make me think about sipping an aperol spritz with waves lapping in the distance.

Farm Rio Fish Dress

I finally did it – I bought the Farm Rio fish dress I’ve had my eye on since last summer! It went on sale and was still available in my size, so I scooped it up. I haven’t had the chance to wear it yet, but it’s definitely one of those statement dresses that you buy now and find an occasion for later. I can’t wait.

Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry

I was lucky enough to get an early audiobook copy of Great Big Beautiful Life from Libro.fm, and I really liked it. I know there’s been some chatter online about it not being romance “enough,” but my favorite thing about Emily Henry’s books is always that she does write nuanced stories outside the romance, so that wasn’t a disappointment to me! I thought it was a great big beautiful story.

Tilt Beauty Grip Stick

I know this isn’t a new purchase, but I’ve left my clear Tilt Beauty Grip Stick on my desk and it’s been so nice to have a lip balm on hand at all times. I’ll never get tired of the “novelty” of being able to open and apply it completely and totally by myself!

Portable Battery

A last minute entry for April – this portable battery helped get us through the 17 hour power outage after the storms that hit Pittsburgh last week. It’s definitely not super powerful, but was enough to get us through the night so that I could use my breathing machine uninterrupted, which was what I really needed. Definitely something good to have on hand for emergencies!

Violette_fr Bisou Balm

I love the finish of Violette_fr’s Bisou Balms – they’re so matte and blurred, they look perfectly effortless and lived in. I picked up their new shade, Mon Cheri, and I think it’s my favorite. It’s a pretty brownish red that looks subtle but adds the perfect little something to my lips.

Dr. Idriss Major Fade Active Seal

I am constantly in search of a vitamin c product that doesn’t break me out. Fingers crossed, because I’ve been using this vitamin c gel moisturizer from Dr. Idriss for about a month now, and it hasn’t given me any breakouts at all. I love how silky it feels on my skin, and especially love that it combines two steps in one so my nighttime routine is just a little bit quicker.
