I guess this post could also just be called “FISH DRESS,” because when I saw this dress from Farm Rio last year, I knew that I had to have it. I waited very patiently until I was able to snag it on sale, and it definitely lived up to the hype I’d built up for it! Once I had ordered the dress, I kept seeing more and more fishy an nautical-inspired dresses and accessories all over. I rounded up some of my favorites to share today.

Starting out with the fish dress. I love clothes that make some sort of style statement, and a fish design wrapped around the bodice definitely qualifies for me. I just think it’s so much fun, which is what fashion should be! It’s splurgey, but the quality is really nice – the fabric is not at all thin. I really love it! This blue cutout dress dotted with shells is another really fun one – a different take on nautical, and super wearable for summer. This shirtdress style dress has a great mix of different nautical notes all over it, and looks like a perfect breezy summer dress. And if you’re looking for something a bit more subtle, this crochet-style maxi gives off nautical vibes without being too on-the-nose.
A nautical-inspired accessory is a fun little addition to your outfit if you’re not ready to go all out with a dress! Just like the crochet dress is a subtle nod to nautical, so is this woven shoulder bag with a netted overlay – not too bold, and works with almost every outfit. These woven fisherman sandals look so comfy and are completely nautically-inspired. Espadrilles always give nautical vibes to me, and both this striped pair and this mesh pair are so cute. I love how pretty these mother-of-pearl shell earrings are – they’d add such a nice little detail to any look. I really, really love a fish bag. This beaded sardine bag is totally calling my name, and I love that the rope crossbody strap adds to the nautical vibes. This fish-shaped woven clutch is also perfect – an amazing summer statement bag. And because bag charms are everywhere these days – this little lobster one is just so cute. You can’t go wrong!
