I did something I don’t do often this week – I went out on a work night! The Arts Fest started last night, and I headed to the Strip District after work to check it out. I always have the best time browsing the booths with art and jewelry… and always end up buying more than I intend to! If you’re in the area, definitely check it out – it runs through the end of the weekend this year.

Hill House Farmer’s Market Capsule

I’m going to a picnic themed baby shower this month, so when I saw that Hill House was releasing a print with cute illustrated veggies?! Had to have it. It’s such a fun, whimsical print! They have it in a nice selection of styles, too – a mini dress, the standard Ellie, the slightly sleeker Anjuli, and even pajamas.

Wicked: For Good Trailer

I know that the release of part two of Wicked is still months and months away, but wow, I could not be more excited. The trailer dropped this week, and it looks like it’s going to be just as good as part one. The clip from “For Good?!” I love that I have a real movie theater event to look forward to again, since superhero movies are largely not my thing.

NYT‘s Summer Bucket Reading List

I am very much a mood reader – I like to read what I want, when I want to. But I can get behind this summer reading bucket list from The New York Times, which is more general categories of ideas for books rather than anything too specific. I like to mix it up when I read anyway, so this is a helpful guide for me.

Violette_fr Lip Nectar

When I saw that Violette_fr was coming out with a lip oil / lip stain, I knew I needed to try it, because I love their Bisou Balm so much! This goes on much more glossy, and feels more hydrating on my lips. When it dries down, it leaves a very nice stain of color on my lips. It’s less blurred than the Bisou Balm, but still looks more natural than a lipstick.
