July 2025 Favorites

With traveling in both June and July, last month’s favorites is a little heavy on things I rediscovered that I loved because of how convenient they were for travel. It’s less new things than usual, but I’m trying to be better about using the things I already own rather than just replacing with new! Here are my favorites from last month.

Margaritaville Maui Portable Blender

Okay, so I guess there are a few new things in July’s favorites, too, like this portable margarita maker. I got this for my mom for Mother’s Day, but we finally had enough time and days with the right weather to try it out, and wow, I love it so much! My favorite part is that it’s battery powered and portable, so we can make our drinks out on the patio where we’re spending our time. It’s so easy to use – you just put ice cubes up top, and whatever liquids (or, in my case, frozen Lime-Aid concentrate + liquids) in the bottom. The machine shaves the ice and then mixes it in with the liquid at the bottom! So quick and so tasty.

Beis Ultimate Travel Duffle

This Ultimate Travel Duffle from Beis is so small but mighty! I’ve been able to use only this for all of my trips this summer for my clothes + shoes, which is no small feat. It’s called a duffle, but the inside is set up like a suitcase, where it zips open completely. Each half also zippers completely closed, which means you can squeeze in quite a bit while still keeping it secure. It also has a place for your laptop and a trolley sleeve so you can slide it on your suitcase. Honestly, I’m way more impressed with it than I thought I would be! I have it in camel, which doesn’t look like it’s available anymore, but it comes in both olive and black now.

Double Wall Glass Coffee Mug

A friend gave me this mug as a Secret Santa gift a few years ago – I really appreciated it because she tried her best to make sure it would be lightweight enough for me to lift, and it is! I’ve been very into iced espressos (three shots) with two pumps of macadamia nut syrup and homemade cold foam, and they fit perfectly in this glass. The double-walled insulation helps keep my drink cool without getting condensation everywhere, and the lid keeps me from spilling it everywhere! It’s perfect.

Tilt Mascara

I feel like I slept on this mascara the first time I tried it, but it’s quickly become my go-to for daily use. Since it’s by Tilt Beauty, it’s made with accessibility in mind, and is super easy to hold and open. And the mascara itself is great, too! It’s buildable without getting too clumpy or flaky, so I can put on two coats without worrying about how it will come out. I haven’t found it to smudge a lot, either.

Longchamp Mini Pouch

This is just the perfect mini bag to use when traveling. It holds everything I want nearby and on hand in the car, but also works on its own as my daily bag whenever I’ve arrived, too. The zipper makes sure I don’t accidentally lose anything, which is extra useful when traveling, since I’m not always the most careful with where I set my bag in a hotel. And I really love how perfectly it hangs on my wheelchair controller.

JVN Air Dry Cream

With travel and high temperatures lately, I have gotten so much use out of this! I am in dire need of a haircut right now – my hair is so, so long, which makes it so heavy and hot! I don’t want to deal with washing and styling it daily. And with travel, sometimes washing and styling it at the hotel isn’t really an option. So I’ve been having it French braided, and then using this air dry cream to keep the waves looking nice and smooth afterwards. It keeps it from getting frizzy, which really helps me extend the wear of my wavy styles. It’s a staple for me!
