September has seriously flown by – I can’t believe October is almost here. It’s been so warm the last week or so that it’s really thrown me off and made me double-check the calendar once or twice! But we’ve had some cooler, rainy days now, and that plus the orange leaves falling from the trees in my yard remind me that fall really is just around the corner. I still have some more patio time left, though, and I’ll take advantage as long as I can.

On to this week’s favorites!

Hotel Lobby Napa Valley Candle

Hotel Lobby was super generous and let me pick out a candle from their fall collection. I had never tried their Napa Valley candle before, and wow, is it good. It’s so perfect for fall – a mix of floral, fruity, and earthy. I like that it’s more of a subtle fall scent, rather than something apple or pumpkin scented.

Wicked: For Good Final Trailer

I don’t have words for how excited I am to see Wicked: For Good. The first half lived up to and exceeded my expectations, so I have even higher hopes for Act II. And watching the trailer really just makes me look forward to it even more – the snippets of songs?! Incredible. I will be sat in the theater, hopefully with a thematic outfit, too.

Still Bobbi by Bobbi Brown Excerpt

I’ve always been a fan of Bobbi Brown – even if I didn’t use all of her products, I loved her approach to makeup. She believed in using makeup to compliment your appearance, not to try to change it, which is very much my own approach to makeup. I’m really looking forward to reading her upcoming memoir – this excerpt is a really interesting look at a small business vs. a large corporation approach.
