Sephora Savings Event

The Sephora Sale is here! With code EVERYTHING, Rouge members get 20% off from 10/31-11/10, VIB members get 15% off from 11/4-11/10, and Beauty Insiders get 10% off from 11/4-10 – and all Sephora Collection products are 30% off from 10/31-11/10, too. The sale can get a little bit overwhelming with everyone sharing their favorites, so I’m trying my best to keep things straightforward. I’ll be sharing my everyday skincare and makeup products, the gift and value sets that I think are worth it, and then an assortment of my other favorites.

My Everyday Products

These are the products I use day in and day out – my real tried and true favorites.

AM and PM Skincare Routine

  • I wash my face with this Dr. Idriss Soft Wash. It’s gentle, doesn’t overly strip my skin, and doesn’t irritate it. It’s also strong enough to remove makeup on it’s own, but can be used as the second step in a double cleanse if I go in with micellar water first.
  • I use this Foreo Luna Mini to apply my face wash. It’s gentler than a washcloth, silicone so it doesn’t get gross and moldy, and really helps gently exfoliate with zero irritation.
  • I follow that up with the Paula’s Choice Weightless Advanced Repairing Toner. It’s the perfect way to add some moisture back into my skin without using something that’s going to make my makeup pill or be patchy.
  • I love the Dieux Deliverance Serum. It’s basically transformed my skin – since I’ve started using it consistently, it’s made my skin less red and less reactive overall. It just looks smoother and calmer and brighter.
  • I use the Lion Pose Unspotted 4X every other night. It’s a great exfoliant that helps get rid of my post-acne scars, and helps keep the texture of my skin smooth overall.
  • The Dieux Air Angel is the perfect lightweight, gel cream moisturizer for someone like me with oily skin. It adds just enough moisture back without being too heavy and making me breakout, and it has so many other beneficial ingredients.
  • I like to put on the Dr. Idriss Barrier Baste and Barrier Balm before I get into bed, and wake up with smooth, unchapped, moisturized lips. This is especially key in the winter months!
  • This Kosas Chemistry Serum deodorant is a natural deodorant that just works. It doesn’t stop sweating (it’s not an antiperspirant), but it does totally get rid of odor, and doesn’t irritate my sensitive armpit skin at all.

Daily Makeup Products

I keep my daily makeup pretty simple – a foundation, blush, brow gel, and mascara (not sold at Sephora). I’ll share my other makeup products that I like but don’t use daily down below!

  • I can’t get over how good the Dior Forever Skin Perfect Foundation Stick is. I just swipe it on my face and it blends like a dream, basically disappearing into my skin. It gives a natural finish and lasts all day, and just makes me skin look flawless and airbrushed.
  • The Rhode Pocket Blush is an easy to use, very pretty cream blush. You can swipe it directly onto your cheeks, or do what I do and swipe your brush onto the product. It looks super natural and is buildable, too.
  • The Glossier Boy Brow has been a staple in my routine for years now! I have pretty dark and full brows naturally, so I don’t need anything too much – the gel just gives them a little extra wash of color and keeps them looking nicely groomed.

Finally, not technically makeup or skincare, but the Shark FlexStyle has transformed how I style my hair at home. It actually helps me get close to a blowout style without having to leave my house, which is huge for me! I’m such a fan and couldn’t recommend it more.

Sets and Kits

Spray-to-Wipe // Laura Mercier // Sephora Fragrances Set

Summer Fridays Minis // Summer Fridays Trio // Patrick Ta Set // Rare Beauty Set

Phlur Set // Jo Malone Set

Touchland Set // Sephora Holiday Must-Haves

Starting out with the kits that I think will be the most popular and will sell out quickly…

  • The Holiday Perfume Sampler is always a good choice, because you get to test out and try some of their most popular fragrances, and then redeem a full-sized product of your choice! There are some great options included – Kayali, YSL, Replica, and more.
  • Sephora’s Holiday Must-Haves kit is filled with some really popular products – I love the Danessa Myricks balm, the Touchland hand sanitizer is everywhere, and Glossier’s Balm Dotcom is so loved for a reason!
  • Summer Fridays lip balms are great, and with a set, you can either keep all for yourself, or split up and give as gifts! Both the Holiday Trio and the Lip Balm Minis are great choices.
  • You can’t go wrong with this Touchland Hand Sanitizer Set – it’s another case where you can either stock up for yourself and put one in every bag, or split up and give as little gifts.
  • Phlur is making some of the most popular fragrances out there right now, and this Mini Holiday Coffret has mini sizes of four of their most bestselling scents.

And for other kits and sets that I love, but are kind of flying under the radar right now…

  • I am obsessed with my Luna Daily Spray-to-Wipe for easy, non-sticky, on-the-go cleaning. This Spray-to-Wipe Set means that you can try out the different formulations and never be without one.
  • I love Laura Mercier’s Caviar Sticks – they’re foolproof eyeshadow sticks that don’t budge or crease. This Mini Eyeshadow Trio is great for anyone who wants to try out the formulation, or doesn’t wear eyeshadow all that often.
  • This Patrick Ta Glow and Gloss Set comes with both the cream-and-powder blush duo, plus a new shimmery lip gloss – a great deal.
  • I love wearing a holiday-inspired perfume this time of year, and this Jo Malone Mini Ginger Biscuit and Spiced Apricot and Sandalwood Duo is the perfect choice! Since this isn’t a year-round scent, the mini size is perfect.
  • This Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Trio has one of their super pigmented and long-lasting liquid blushes, one of the newer cream blush shades, and their incredible lip stain, too.

Last but definitely not least – these products aren’t necessarily ones I use every single day, but they are all things I use regularly and love.

Starting with makeup…

I have a few skincare and haircare items on my list…

  • Necessaire makes some really great products. I love The Body Wash in Santal – it smells so good, and feels so luxe on my skin. I’m not a big lotion person (I just don’t like the feel), but The Body Serum is the perfect way for me to moisturize and not feel sticky.
  • I’ve only had the chance to try it out for a few weeks, but the Dr. Idriss Flash Mask is an incredible AHA wash-off mask that makes my skin so bright and really helps my products absorb so much better.
  • For reviving second- (…or third-) day-waves, or for smoothing back a slick back, I love the JVN Air Dry Cream. My hair doesn’t feel crunchy, but the frizz is controlled.

The sale is a great time to pick up a fragrance or two! There are so many that I love, but a few that are all-time favorites are the Rare Beauty Fragrance (so accessible!), Tom Ford Lost Cherry, and Kayali The Wedding.

One more thing I absolutely couldn’t write this post without including – the Dermaflash Dermaplaning Device. I actually bought this last year during the sale and have been using it weekly ever since. My skin looks so much brighter and smoother, and my products apply so much better!
