This is my final gift guide for the year! I wanted to make sure I ended with my favorite one – all things disabled. These are all gifts that I think would be appreciated by anyone disabled or chronically ill in your life. Of course, this is mostly based on my personal experience, and disability is pretty diverse! But I tried to round up a good mix of different options.

Sometimes, showering just isn’t in the cards – maybe you don’t have the energy, or maybe you’re traveling and the shower actually isn’t accessible! No matter the reason, this is a spray you spray on and then wipe off, like a shower on the go and without the icky residue wipes can leave.
Chappywrap Midi Blanket
I love how soft and cozy Chappywraps are – I have so many of them. But what you might not know is that their midi sized blanket is the perfect size for a wheelchair lap blanket! I’m always cold because I have bad circulation, so I have a blanket on at home at all times.
Microwaveable Neck Warmer
So many gifts revolving around always feeling cold – a common theme for many wheelchair users! This is microwaveable and then holds on to the heat for a while. It’s meant for your neck, but I often use it on my feet too.
Brush-On Dry Shampoo
Again, sometimes showering and hair washing is just too much effort, and dry shampoo is a lifesaver. This one is cool because it’s brush on, so you don’t need to be able to press down an aerosol can, and it’s fragrance free if you have scent sensitivities!
Billy Shoes Slippers
It’s surprisingly hard for me to find shoes that fit and go on easily. These slippers from Billy are so cool, though, because they zip all the way around the top, leaving the shoe totally open for you to just set your foot in. Plus, they’re super warm and cozy, too!
Tilt Beauty Kit
Tilt Beauty makes amazing makeup products that are adaptive and accessible on purpose. They’re all super easy to open and use, even if you have limited strength/dexterity. This kit has some of their best sellers all packaged together in a cute, magnetic burgundy clutch.
Oura Ring
This is definitely a pricier gift, but I’ve had it for over a year now and really love it. Being able to track my sleep, heart rate, oxygen, and stress levels has helped me make smart decisions about my health.
Side Sleeper Pillow
This pillow changed my life, and I will never stop recommending it! If you know a side sleeper, this pillow is a great gift, because it has little cutouts for your ears to relieve pressure. It’s especially amazing for anyone who sleeps with a CPAP or other breathing machine and sleeps on their side.
Dosey Pill Container
This is a chic and functional pill container, which is a huge win. It has slots for every day that can fit multiple pills, so you don’t have to try to remember which you took already. And it twists to open, which means it’s accessible to people with low strength/mobility.
Dr. Idriss Lip Duo
Sleeping with a breathing machine/nasal mask on all night long means that I often wake up with super dry lips. This lip peel + balm duo from Dr. Idriss is a lifesaver! I put it on before bed and wake up with soft, smooth lips.
Dyson Heater, Fan, and Purifier
This is also pricier, but is so great. It’s a three-in-one space heater, fan, and air purifier. I have limited space (and outlets!) in my room, since my other equipment takes up enough space. Having all three in devices in one is a huge space saver, and I love how fast it makes my room toasty.
Serum Applicator
This is one of my sister’s two additions to the list! She uses this serum applicator to put on her serum and moisturizer every day – it helps you reach the top of your forehead and other places you might not have the mobility to reach. Plus, the silicone cover slips on and off so you can easily wash it after each use.
“Learning” Chopsticks
These are my sister’s other contribution to the list! She loves ramen, but finds it difficult to use chopsticks (I’ve quit trying). These are connected, so they’re easier to hold and manipulate. They sell a smaller size (kids) and an adult version too.
Nessarose Doll
I know this is a kids toy, but having Nessarose from Wicked be played by a disabled actress was such a huge moment for representation that I actually bought one as a souvenir of sorts! It’s a gift for all ages, in my opinion.
