I used to be very into full coverage liquid foundations, but in the past few years, I've found myself wanting something that looks a bit more natural when I wear makeup. I'm increasingly into things that are easy to apply and last all day, but don't feel like I'm wearing a heavy layer of makeup on my skin. I want to look like a polished version of me, rather than me under a mask!
A few weeks ago, a friend sent me a picture of something, and I commented on her nail polish. It was a great natural color - subtle, but just looked polished. She was so exited I'd noticed, and told me it was the Londontown Illuminating Nail Concealer. I ordered it immediately, and I've really been loving it. For me, it's the perfect way to get that fresh manicure feeling but with way less effort.
A few months ago, I saw post after post about Bisou Balms all over my social media feeds. I was pretty intrigued - it seemed like a lipstick / lip balm hybrid that gave you a beautiful blurred wash of color. I picked up two of them and was really impressed, but because you could only order directly from their site, never went back to try out more of their products.
