Short work weeks never fail to feel extra long - I'm very happy that today is Friday. I went out on a weeknight this week to see Noah Kahan's concert, and I was dragging on Thursday, but it was totally worth it! He was incredible live, and it was a really fun night (though chilly!). It was a really fun way to kick off summer - but I'm also excited to catch up on sleep this weekend.
Happy Friday! It's a long weekend for me, and I'm really looking forward to the extra day off to have a nice, long relaxing weekend after a few plan-filled weekends in a row. The weather looks like it will be summer-like for at least a few of the weekend days, so I'm hoping that some patio coffee time and patio frozen margaritas are in my future! Happy Friday! I'm really excited for this weekend - I'm going to The Andy Warhol Museum's 30th Anniversary Gala tomorrow! I love committing to a theme, so I've had a lot of fun picking out a dress and some accessories that feel pop art inspired. And of course - any reason to celebrate the museum is worthwhile! We had such a beautiful week here - I spent so much time outside, taking my laptop out to the patio to work and then later, reading outside for a bit too. It's just so nice to be able to really enjoy the patio again! It was a pretty low-key week otherwise, though. I have tickets to see the play The Kite Runner this weekend, which I'm looking forward to, but otherwise just taking it easy. I'm trying to get a little bit ahead on blog work so that I'm not always finishing the next day's post the night before, but we'll see what actually ends up happening! Anyway, on to this week's favorites.
The weather has been so, so gorgeous this week. It's been summer-like, with highs in the 70s and 80s, and I have been spending as much time as humanly possible outside on my patio, reading or working or snacking. I am truly in my element in the summer, and I can't wait for the weather to stay like this! It really just put me in the best mood, and I am so excited for more weeks like this.
Happy Friday! This has been a pretty standard week for me - nothing too exciting, but honestly, that's a good thing! I've had my fill of stress for now, and calm and "normal" sounds pretty great, to be honest. My sister's birthday was last weekend and we're going to go out on Saturday to celebrate, but that's the extent of my plans, and I'm happy about that. On to this week's favorites!
We've had a week of absolutely gorgeous weather, and it's put me in the best mood. I took Lily for a "walk" one afternoon... and then, as she often does, she ended up riding back on my lap for the second half of the (short) walk. But it's the thought that counts, right?? Today is also new Taylor Swift music day, which means I'm in even more of a good mood, too. It's a perfect way to end the week! On to the favorites.
This week was one of those weeks where each day felt incredibly long. I can't believe that the eclipse was this week - it feels much, much longer ago than that. We weren't quite in totality, but we were close, and it was still a super cool thing to experience - and I loved how everyone was talking about it and sharing their own experiences! This week's favorites is going up a day early, because the Sephora spring sale starts tomorrow for VIB Rouge members, and I'm going to be sharing all my favorites. It has been a busy but fun week - on Tuesday night, I went to the White Whale Bookstore to celebrate the final of Chloe Liese's Bergman Brothers books being out in the world. It's such a gem of a bookstore, and was such a great night, even though we had to drive through a tornado watch on the way home (no tornadoes were sighted and we were very safe!). I had a busy work week, too, so I'm looking forward to a calmer weekend. On to the favorites!
Happy Friday! I don't have a whole lot to share this week - work has still been busy (but in a good way), which means it feels like the week has flown. We have a low-key Easter weekend planned - just a small dinner with family - so the weekend should give me some time to relax a bit! I honestly can't believe that this is the last full week of March, but I'm really beyond ready for April, and warmer weather, and spending so much time outside. It can't be too much longer now!
