Cardigans

August is (somehow!) only days away, and I keep seeing more and more cardigans popping up as I’m browsing. A lot of them are perfect for end-of-summer nights, when the temperatures drop a little but it’s not actually too chilly yet. I rounded up some of my current favorite short sleeve or lightweight cardigans that are perfect for layering.

Contrast trim short sleeve // Boxy white long sleeve // Grey cable short sleeve

Boxy grey long sleeve // Cream short sleeve // Navy long sleeve

White long sleeve // Grey long sleeve // Cream wrap long sleeve

Starting out with the short sleeved options – this cream colored one is simple and versatile, and would be a great layering piece over almost anything. I love the cable knit texture on this one – it’s such a classic look. And the contrast trim on this sweater is so great – just a little extra detail that gives it something special.

The rest of the cardigans are long sleeved, but still lightweight and perfect for transitioning from summer to fall. White is a great way to keep an outfit looking nice and light – this one with pointelle stripes is super delicate, and this one is a little bit of a more boxy, oversized shape. This grey one is also a bit more oversized, with a chunkier knit, and this one is super thin with four pockets on the front and a great ribbed texture. I love the knit of this navy one – it’s so thin and slightly open in places. And I think the ruched shoulders on this ballet wrap-style cardigan are just so cute. You can’t go wrong with any of these!
