I love getting dressed up for the holidays. I love sparkle in general, but during the holidays it feels like you’re really given permission to go all out if you want, with sparkle and shine in every outfit if you want! So today I pulled together some holiday outfit inspiration that ranges from subtly sparkly to shimmer all the way.

Glitter Nap Dress // Embellished Sweater // Metallic Maxi // Green Blazer
Gold Heels // Red Velvet Mini // Sequin Skirt
Studded Sweater // Green Bag // Pleated Skirt // Black Bag
Starting off with the more casual looks, I love an embellished sweater like this grey one or this black one – they feel dressier than normal, but not over the top. They could work with jeans or black pants, but if you wanted to dress it up a bit, you could pair either with a midi skirt like this cream colored pleated one. If you wanted to go a little bit further, even, you could do this super fun silver sequin skirt instead. I really love the contrast of a cozy sweater with a sparkly skirt. And this green velvet blazer can be added to almost any outfit to make it feel more festive.
My favorite thing about holiday outfits, though, is the pretty dresses! I actually took advantage of the Hill House annual sale and picked up this black glitter Nap Dress – I think it’s the perfect way to really make a statement. I also love the sheen on this silver metallic maxi dress – it’s so shiny that it almost looks liquid! And if you’re looking for something a little more toned down, you can get the same style (but shorter) in this deep red velvet color.
No outfit is complete without accessories! This green velvet purse is a great option, and I love the big flouncy bow on this black studded one. These black block heels will go with anything, but they’re still so chic. These gold toned ones are also so cute, and have a slightly lower heel for something a little more wearable. Last, but definitely not least, I can’t get over these silver slip-on heels with a big bow on top. I feel like they’d really just make an outfit!
