Shopping the Sephora Spring Sale

It’s that time of year again – it’s time for Sephora’s spring sale! Sephora only really has two big sales each year, one in the spring and one when it’s closer to the holidays. So it’s a great time to take advantage and pick up some new things you’ve been wanting to try, or stock up on old favorites. I tend to do a little bit of both – make sure I’m fully stocked with my current favorites, but pick up one or two fun new things, too.

A little bit about the logistics of the sale. The sale runs through 4/19, but the start date depends on what level of Beauty Insider you are. For Rouge members, the sale started on 4/9, and you get 20% off that you can use unlimited times during the sale period. For VIB members, it starts on 4/13 and you get 15% off. Beauty Insiders get access to the sale on 4/15, and get 10% off. If there’s something in particular you want, I suggest that you shop as early as possible, because things do sell out and they’re not restocked until after the sale is over.

Okay, now on to the fun part – the shopping!

Paula’s Choice CLEAR Anti-Redness Exfoliating Solution

This is one of my go-to products that I want to stock up on. I talked about it in this post – it’s a great, gentle chemical exfoliant that really helps keep my acne under control.

Laura Mercier Caviar Stick

I have used the Bobbi Brown eyeshadow sticks before, but I really like the colors that Laura Mercier offers and want to give them a try. The ease and staying power of cream eyeshadow sticks just can’t be beat!

Peace Out Acne Dots

I love these little acne stickers! I use them overnight whenever a breakout does crop up, and it helps keep it from getting any bigger. They have salicylic acid in them to help treat the acne, too. I’ve gotten my mom and sister into them, too!

Mini Pillow Talk Lip Set

Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk lipstick is one of those iconic colors that just looks good on almost everyone! I have it and love it – it’s really subtle, but just looks polished. And the lip liner – I actually wear it as a base, covering my lips completely, and then either put the lipstick itself over it or put any lip gloss over it.

GrandeLash MD

I am obsessed with this eyelash growth serum. I’ve been using it for a year now – I started out using it every night, but now that I’m maintaining I only use it every other night. It just.. works! It’s pricey, so the sale is the perfect time to pick one up if you haven’t tried it yet.

Fenty Beauty Ease Drop Blurring Skin Tint

I’m really excited to try this product! Blurring skin tints are the makeup products that I cannot resist trying, and this one looks like it doesn’t give too much of a dewy finish, either, which is great for me. I’ll report back once I’ve had the chance to use it for a bit.

Paula’s Choice Weightless Advanced Repairing Toner

Another one of my go-to favorites. Nothing too fancy, but just a great, lightweight toner that’s a staple of my skincare routine.

Drunk Elephant TLC Framboos Serum

This is a pricey product from Drunk Elephant, but so worth it to me (especially as part of the sale). It’s the perfect exfoliating serum – gentle but effective, and a good mix of surface exfoliants and ones that work deeper down in the pores, too. Love it!

Marc Jacobs Eyeshadow Palette

This was a fun addition I decided to add to my cart! I love metallic colors with sparkle, and the colors in this palette are just so pretty! I always go for gold colors. I can’t wait to play around with this.

Bobbi Brown Eyebrow Gel

This has become my go-to eyebrow product! It’s super easy to apply, and isn’t too dramatic – it just makes my eyebrows look a little bit fuller and more polished. It lasts really nicely throughout the day, too.

Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb

I’m so glad that lip glosses are back in style again, because they’re my favorite – they’re so much easier than lipstick and require so much less maintenance. I love the shimmery pinky peachy color of this one.
