October 2025 Favorites

October’s favorites are here! It honestly felt like a very odd month – somehow both short and long at the same time. In an attempt to wrestle a little control back from a somewhat out-of-control life, I’ve been a little more focused on skincare and beauty – it feels like that is something that I can control. So here are all my favorites from last month.

L’Oreal Glossing Mask

I’ve been struggling a bit with the texture of my hair lately – it’s a bit frizzier than it used to be, and just a bit less smooth. A bunch of my friends have been using this glossing mask from L’Oreal, so I decided to give it a try too, and I really love it. I use it after shampoo and conditioner, and leave it on for five (ish, maybe a little bit less) minutes. It smells SO nice, and my hair just feel smoother and looks shinier afterward.

Mixed Media Dress

I’ve been trying to do less impulse shopping lately – I have so many dresses! But I saw this one and just really, really loved it. I think the mix of materials is great – I really love the faux leather of the bodice – and the print on the bottom is so cool. It reminds me of a still like painting in the very best way.

Theraface Glo Mask

I’ve only been using this red light mask for about a week or so, which is too early to note any long-term results. But so far, I am a huge fan. I actually happened to get a breakout the week that I got it, and it made it go away noticeably faster than it would have without it. I’m definitely going to keep using it and seeing what other benefits I notice, but I’m so impressed already.

Starbucks Reusable Lid Stopper

A friend from Canada shared a picture of this, and I was instantly obsessed and ran to Poshmark to find one of my own. It’s a keychain / bag charm, but the bottom of it pops off and it also acts as a reusable stopper for a hot drink from Starbucks (or anywhere else, of course). It’s both super cute and totally functional – I love it!

Rare Beauty Perfume

I’ve been swapping out some of my perfumes for the change of seasons, and the Rare Beauty one feels so appropriate for cooler temperatures. It’s a vanillay/caramel scent, and it just smells so warm and comforting – exactly what I’m looking for right now.

New York Perfume

Another fragrance that came out for the season is Hotel Lobby’s New York perfume! It’s just so sophisticated and chic, and the lasting power is really impressive. I just feel like I smell expensive when I wear it, in the best way.
