When I traveled to Cedar Point and Lake Erie back in May, I felt like I kind of had to re-learn how to pack and how to travel, and the same thing happened again when we flew to Myrtle Beach! It had been so long since I had traveled that I had to remind myself what I needed when I packed and the best way to pack it all.
After going nowhere for so long, it feels strange to be writing trip recap posts again - and honestly, felt strange to actually take the trip! I spent a week in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina at the end of June so I thought that I'd share a bit about my trip, and what it's like to travel right now, in my post today.
I'm actually writing this post a full week early, because right now I'm enjoying my much-needed vacation at Myrtle Beach! It was a lot of work getting a full week of posts up and ready to post ahead of time, but worth it to be able to fully unplug and not have to worry while I'm away.
It's so strange to write posts about traveling again - it feels so surreal that I actually have a beach trip planned after going nowhere for so long! It's also been strange to pack again - I'm so used to having everything I need with me at all times. Luckily, when I'm packing for a beach trip, I tend to keep my beauty pretty simple. I thought I'd share some skincare and makeup must-haves that I take with me when I'm at the beach.
Last weekend, I traveled for the first time in over a year and went to Cedar Point, right on the shore of Lake Erie. Growing up, we used to go to Cedar Point every summer - my dad worked there for a summer during college, and it remains the beset summer of his life to this day!
