Friday Favorites

I am almost certain that I say this every single month, but it stands – I cannot believe that it is somehow December. I feel like we are just hurtling towards the end of the year and I feel so unprepared! (I am, however, very ready for the time off.) The decorations have started to go up around the house, so maybe that will help me get a little more in the holiday mood, too.

On to my favorites from this week!

My Existence is Resistance T-Shirt

I’ve shared about Dr. Akilah Cadet, aka Change Cadet, on here before. She released a new t-shirt with the message “My Existence is Resistance,” and wow, do I love that! It perfectly sums up how I feel a lot of the time as a disabled woman.

Harry & Meghan Trailer

I am very excited for this docuseries from Harry and Meghan! Just based on the pictures included in the trailer alone, it does look like it’s going to be a behind-the-scenes look into what’s been going on in their lives over the last few years. I’m in! Can’t wait for December 8.

Two Wrongs Make a Right by Chloe Liese

I read this romance book earlier this week in about a day or two and loved it. It’s actually a modern take on a Shakespeare story, but what I loved the most was the authentic representation of anxiety and neurodiversity in the main love interests! Her mention of disability at the end of the acknowledgements section was also really, really moving. Highly recommend!

Dressy Loafer from Sarah Flint

I love this new take on the loafer style from Sarah Flint! It has the same classic loafer shape, but the deep red color, the suede texture, and the little ruffle all make it a little bit dressier. It’d be a perfect holiday shoe!
